A director involved in the day to day running of a limited company is seen as both an employer and an employee. If you are to be paid a salary from the business, you will need to set up a PAYE scheme with HMRC and register as an employer. You can then be added as an employee on the payroll and be paid your salary. We can handle all of that for you!
If you need to make an adjustment, we can rerun your payroll and resend you the payroll reports. However, there may be an additional payslip charge for this. In the unlikely event that we have made an error on the payroll no additional charge would be made for us to re-run.
We ask to receive your payroll data 48 hours before the payments need to be processed so we can deal with any queries that may arise. Shorter processing times however can be discussed, and agreed with, your designated payroll specialist.
